With 68.46% of reports in, Coldplay looks to win its see-saw battle with Brantley Gilbert to hold onto to the top of the chart for a second week. Brantley Gilbert will continue to top the Country chart for a second week and can take comfort in the fact that his second week drop is significantly less than Coldplay’s.

Austin has been trumpeted as the next tween heart throb, but the current tween heart throb may be able to breath a little easier since Austin is debuting in 4th with 42-47K in predicted sales. Frozen, much like the Marshmallow monster Elsa created, continues to stomp all over the chart without meaning any harm. It is 5th even though summer is just around the corner.
Now 50 (deluxe edition featuring Idol’s Carly Rae Jepsen and Kelly Clarkson) in holding steady at 6th, Michael Jackson’s hologram is 7th, The Black Keys survived a dissing from Jack White to be 8th, Rascal Flatts is 9th and Iggy Azalea rounds out the top 10.
X-Factor UK’s Cher Lloyd drops an album and despite not a lot of radio support yet, it is set to debut at 11th. American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips is at 16th for his second week. Now 49 features X-Factor’s One Direction and is it 28th. There are a couple of Voice judges on the chart to support that franchise (3 time winner Blake Shelton and never in the finale Shakira).
