With 70.38% of reports in, Frozen continues to be the Adele of this 2014. Turns out that Travolta was actually channeling his inner ability to predict the future when he introduced Indina as Adele Dazeem. Even the karaoke version of this album is sitting in the top 15 three weeks in. At least something is selling well. This will be lucky number 13 at the top of the charts for Frozen.
Lindsey Stirling is going to be a distant second, but will be the top debut artist and sell an impressive amount for a classical cross-over violinist. Go Lindsey. Ray Lamontagne is debuting behind her and he is a popular artist to cover on reality singing shows (just don’t look him in the eye). Passion is a Christain ensemble so it too is doing well for it’s genre debuting in 4th. Timeflies fuses a lot of formats together kind and debuts in fifth.
Future Voice judge Pharrell continues to show legs is 6th while current Voice judge Shakira moves back into the top 10. Ever present Voice judge Blake is further back at 35. The rest of the top 10 is rounded out by Whitechapel (Deathcore – 7), Luke Bryan (Bro Country – 8) and Florida Georgia Line (Bro Country – 9).
The only reality singers in the top 50 once again are One Direction. They also appear on Now 49 at 16th.
