HDD – Album Sales Prediction : Mar 28-Apr 3

With 37.17% of the HDD market reporting in, Britney is clearly set to top the chart with her album debuting this week. Then, things look hinky because there is a massive step function down to the next album, NOW 37. Seriously, from 139K to 17K. What’s up with that? Last Friday, HDD predicted that Wiz Khalifa would be second for the week with between 175K and 195K in sales. Right now, that album is sitting at 17 with 6K sold. Methinks the numbers are coming in strangely this week and there will be some big shake-ups today.

Anyway, Kirk Franklin is 3rd, Adele keeps rolling in the deep for 4th and Idol Jennifer Hudson rounds out the top 5 for her second week.

Jason Aldean’s, “My Kinda Party” featuring his duet with Kelly Clarkson is 9th. “Don’t You Wanna Stay” may have gone recurrent on Country, but it still the 4th most played song on that chart this week, so Kelly is helping to push those sales.

Jordin Sparks also has a duet on the Big Time Rush album, B.T.R. which currently sits at 34. Glee Volume 5 is currently at 25.
