Haley Reinhart Releases Fan Favorite ‘O Holy Night’ Cover (Audio)

American Idol season 10 alum Haley Reinhart released a special cover version of the classic “O Holy Night.”

What makes the singer’s cover REALLY special is that the song originally appeared in the Netflix animated series “F is in Family.” Haley voices the character of young Bill, who dodges the pitfalls of tweendom in a 1970s rust belt town.

Haley tweeted a clip of the original with a promise to release the song to streaming and download platforms.

“You guys have requested a full version of, ‘O Holy Night’ ever since I sang it in this clip on S1 of #fisforfamily!” Haley wrote. “I love you all & I’m so grateful for your support. So… SURPRISE!!!” The clip is from the season 1 finale.

“‘O Holy Night’ is officially available everywhere now!!!” Haley posted. “Hope you’s love it & stream it alllll season long, hehe! Many thanks to @Dave_Damiani & the talented musicians that helped bring my version to life.”

On a personal note, Haley shared a special dedication on Thursday (Dec 10), the day before the song’s release. “I’d like to dedicate this song to my Auntie Marilyn, who became an angel today…”
