Gwen Stefani’s new song, the upbeat “Make Me Like You” finds the singer getting over a painful breakup with a new lover, one that she’d like to resist. But instead, she throws all caution to the winds. “Thank God that I found you!” she sings dreamily in the bridge. Remind you of anyone?
The sometime Voice coach is taking a cycle off (Christina Aguilera is returning to the coaches panel for season 10) but she’ll be returning during the season to help her new boo, Blake Shelton, mentor his team during the Battle Rounds. Not confirmed, but I expect she’ll be back to croon a love song to Blake sometime during the live rounds.
“Make Me Like You” is from the the upcoming album This is What the Truth Feels Like, out March 18.
