You haven’t lived until you’ve seen actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts singing along to Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girls” and “B-a-n-a-n-a-s” in the latest edition of James Corden’s Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke.
The clip begins with Gwen joining James in the car to sing “Don’t Speak” and “Escape” at the top of their lungs. In the latter, Gwen helps James out with the fast rap and he gets it! James asks Gwen how she manages to stay so young, and the singer launches into describing how she fell in love again after a terrible breakup. She’s talking about her man, Blake Shelton, of course. James takeaway: Falling in love with a hunky country singer keeps you young.
George and Julia join the party when James is faced with the dilemma of how to use the four person carpool lane. He calls a “mate’ who turns out to be SURPRISE George, who in turn calls HIS pal Julia and suddenly they are a cozy foursome belting out Gwen Stefani tunes. The duo, by the way, are currently promoting their new movie Money Monster.
After the big Gwen singalong, George and Julia share some of their favorite movie lines before the group ends the shenanigans with a rousing rendition of Queen’s “We Are the Champions.” Fun.
