It’s the 50th anniversary of the iconic appearance of the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. It was a night that would change many musicians and music fans lives! To celebrate, a slew of artists got together on the night after the Grammys to perform some of the Beatles best loved songs.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the surviving members of the band, were on hand too to cheer their fellow musicians on and also perform! In a very rare appearance, Ringo and Paul performed together on “Little Help From My Friends” and “Hey Jude.”
Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, George’s wife, Olivia Harrison and their son Dhani (who performed) were also in attendance. George Harrison and John Lennon may have passed on, but surely they were there in spirit.
