Glee star, Lea Michele, just announced she’ll be appearing on the FX series, Sons of Anarchy.

According to TV Line, Lea will appear in the Oct. 14 episode as Gertie, “a truck stop waitress and single mom who connects with Gemma during a difficult time.” FYI: Gemma is played by Katey Sagal, who guest starred on Glee as Artie’s (Kevin McHale) mom. Musicians Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson are also set to appear during the seventh, and final season of Anarchy.
I have never watched the show, but hear it’s pretty good. Any fans out there? Is it worth bing-watching on Hulu?
With Glee heading into its sixth and final season, it makes sense that Lea would be branching out into guest starring roles on other TV series. I wouldn’t be surprised if she wound up with a role on a future season of Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy’s popular FX anthology, American Horror Story.
Production on the 13 episode final season of Glee is set to begin in September and will premiere at mid-season on FOX.
