Congratulations to Glee star Chris Colfer! After the series ends in March, he will have plenty to keep him busy. Publisher, Little, Brown and Company, has announced additional book deals for the actor/singer/writer/producer.
Chris has already published three novels in his Land of Stories book series for middle schoolers. The newest entries will bump the series up to 5. According to Entertainment Weekly, the untitled novels are untitled but set to be released in July 2015 and July 2016.
Also coming up, Chris will write two picture books based on the Land of Stories, as well as two companion books for inclusion in a holiday box set for 2015.
Beyond the 4th and 5th Land of Stories installments, Chris revealed via twitter that fans can expect companion books based on favorite characters from the series, including The Mother Goose Diaries, Queen Red Riding Hood’s Guide to Royalty, and a Trollbella picture book. Also, watch out for an additional picture book based on The Curvy Tree, a story told to the twins by their late father.
Of course, that’s not all for the ambitious Chris. In addition to all the upcoming Land of Stories goodies, Chris is writing a novel for teenagers that tells the story of a young actor taking a cross-country road trip with his fans. Something Chris plans to do in the future? Ha.
With the 4th Land of Stories book due out this summer, Chris is getting ready to reveal more details. He teased recently on twitter:
It’s taking all the self control I can muster NOT to tweet the title of the #TLOS4 prologue. pic.twitter.com/OrGMQYyAXu

In an interview recently, Chris says he has enough work to keep him busy at least a couple of years beyond the end of Glee (including a Noel Coward biopic he begins after Glee wraps). Much of it might be behind the camera, however. If you don’t see him around, it doesn’t’ mean he isn’t maintaining a thriving entertainment career.
“I’m going to have a busy 2015 and 2016,” Chris tweeted, “If I come up missing, don’t worry – I’m just on my computer.”
