Glee promo portraits are typically unleashed on the public right before the new season begins. But, due to the untimely death of star, Cory Monteith, in July, the usual show promotion was cut back to the bare necessities. Glee didn’t need a reason to be in the news. It was for the worst reason ever.
Now that the October 10 Cory Monteith tribute episode has offered some closure to cast and fans, the long delayed promo portraits are here. The arrival of the shots is bittersweet. The photos were taken three weeks before Cory died of a heroin/alcohol overdose.
I can’t help but wonder what Finn’s portrait would have looked like, but we do get a glimpse in this behind the scenes video. Watch to the very end for a little tribute to Cory/Finn. What could have been…
