The New Directions clan returns after a devastating loss at Nationals, so Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) assigns a project to get them back on track. The premiere episode is directed by Eric Stolz. Looks like Sue will be announcing her candidacy on the evening news–Rod and Andrea are back! Also, new cast members LaMarcus Tinker (Marcus, Mercedes new boyfriend) and Vanessa Lengies (Sugar) will be introduced.
