Aw, the neurotic, but lovable Emma Pillsbury FINALLY married her guy, teacher, Will Schuster in the season finale of Glee last spring. But, unfortunately, the Schusters may be headed for a quickie divorce. The actress who plays Emma, Jayma Mays, has landed a role in the CBS Comedy, The Millers.
“This is going to be my last season [on Glee],” Jayma told Access Hollywood on the blue carpet for the “Smurfs 2” premiere in Hollywood over the weekend. “I’m finishing up this season, so I’m not sure what direction and who’s coming on and who’s not,” she explained.
On the new CBS comedy, Jayma will play the sister of Will Arnett, taking over the actress who portrayed the role in the pilot.
However, the actress isn’t ruling out a guest appearance. “I would love to do that,” she said.
On the recent death of Glee co-star, Cory Monteith, Jayma said at the premiere, There are “so many things” to remember about the late actor. . “He was such a fun guy to be around and I have nothing but amazing, wonderful memories of working with him. I have those memories to always take forward with me.”
Also breaking his silence, is Glee star, Kevin McHale, who tweeted a photo with Cory from Season 3’s “The Spanish Teacher” episode. He thanked his fans for their support and paid tribute to his co-star:
“So thankful that I and so many of you got to experience Cory’s overwhelming kindness, humor and talent. There will not be a day that goes by that I won’t miss him. Thank you all for your incredible support and patience.”
