The last item for Gabby Barrett before leaving Pittsburgh for American Idol Live! rehearsals in Los Angeles? Performing a couple of songs at Heinz Field on Saturday night (June 30) with American Idol judge Luke Bryan.
As they did during the American Idol finale, Luke and the hometown gal teamed up for a duet of his song “Most People Are Good.” That performance was followed by Gabby singing her American Idol hometown dedication tune, “Don’t Stop Believing.”
It had to be a thrill of a lifetime for Gabby to perform in front of such a large hometown crowd. Check it out below. Not the BEST video quality, but it will do. Note: That yellow towel she was waving around at the end is a local thing. The “terrible towel” is waved proudly at all Steelers football games.
Next for Gabby–The American Idol Live! tour begins July 11 on the west coast.
