American Idol 2018 alum Gabby Barrett surprised fans Tuesday night (10/26) during her appearance on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, announcing an expanded version of her debut album, Goldmine (DELUXE), available November 19 on Warner Music Nashville.
Amassing over 1.5 billion global streams, Gabby’s top-streaming Gold breakout, Goldmine, featured her 5X Platinum “I Hope.” It’s the most-streamed Country song of 2020. Additionally, her 4-week Hot AC #1 crossover “I Hope (feat. Charlie Puth)” earned the iHeartRadio Titanium Award for reaching over 1 BILLION radio spins. Goldmine also includes Platinum three-week #1 “The Good Ones” and Gabbys latest single “Footprints on the Moon.”
Bringing her current chart-rising single to late night with an electrified arrangement, Gabby wore a ZHIVAGO dress matched with an AKIRA jumpsuit and Steve Madden heels. As always, her fellow American Idol alum and husband, Cade Foehner played lead guitar.
Next month, Gabby will appear as the most nominated female at The 55th Annual CMA Awards on Nov. 10. Up for four nominations, she’s vying for Song of the Year and Single of the Year for “The Good Ones,” Female Artist of the Year, plus New Artist of the Year.
Gabby is also nominated for three American Music Awards: Favorite Female Country Artist; Favorite Country Album for Goldmine; Favorite Country Song for “The Good Ones.” The 2021 American Music Awards broadcast Nov 21 on ABC.
