FOX Expands American Idol January 26 Show to 2 Hours

Futon Critic reports changes to the Idol schedule. Already!  The Wednesday January 26 broadcast has been expanded from 1 hour to two hours:

FOX has expanded the show’s January 26 broadcast to two hours, network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively.

Said change will bump the previously scheduled “Human Target” that night to Monday, January 31 at 8:00/7:00c, which in turn will pre-empt “House.”

Earlier today, FOX rescheduled last night’s “Human Target” installments for Friday, January 14, meaning the next three airings of the series will air on three different nights. In total, five episodes of “Human Target” have yet to air.
