I was looking forward to Fantasia’s appearance on the Wendy Williams Show today, because I knew that girlfriend (Wendy) would not pull too many punches. And she pretty much didn’t.
Wendy attended one of the Fantasia’s Color Purple performances on Broadway only to find out that the star of the show wasn’t there. Wendy wanted some answers.
In the second half of the interview, Fantasia started crying. Yeah, girl, it’s a tough life, but at some point you gotta realize you’re bringing some of this crap on yourself, know what I mean?
And what the hell was up with that…floor rug she’s wearing as a vest? WTF? Get Jennifer Hudson’s stylist to Fanty…stat!
But then, in the third segment, Fantasia performs her new single, “I’m Doin’ Me” and suddenly all the WTF just does not matter. Girl can blow, and that’s a fact.

Uh, What? Anyway. In this clip, Fantasia’s family confronts her about stuff they’ve read in the tabloids–that she’s seeing a married guy. Fantasia insists that he’s separated and she’s no home-wrecker. Semantics!
