YIKES. The family of Don Lewis, Carole Baskin’s millionaire husband who went missing in 1997, aired a commercial during last night’s Dancing with the Stars. In it, the family asks for help finding him, while calling out Carole by name.
The spot, which aired in Florida markets, features Don’s three daughters explaining how much they love and miss him and why they need to know what happened to him. Don’s former assistant says his loved ones are just asking for justice, and the family lawyer says they deserve answers and asks the public if Carole was involved.
The family mentions a $100,000 reward and posts a number for their tip line.
Dancing with the Stars Premiere Ratings Smash Expectations
Carole told TMZ that someone made sure she knew about the commercial 10 minutes before going out on the dance floor. She added, “And you can see that it did not keep me from bringing the best performance of my two weeks of learning.” Hoo boy. By the way, Carole and her pro partner Pasha Pashkov danced last. Their paso doble earned an 11 from the judges, the lowest score of all 15 celebrities.

Fans of the Netflix docuseries Tiger King know the story of Don’s mysterious disappearance in the late 90s, which left Carole a million dollar fortune. There are folks, including Don Lewis’ family, who believe Carole had a hand in his demise. Some say she had him killed and fed to the tigers. But seriously, a Florida Sheriff says that experts claim Lewis’ will is a forgery. There will be no criminal charges, because the statute of limitations has expired.
