1. France: Amandine Bourgeois – L’enfer Et Moi
French Idol season 6 (2008) winner.

2. Lithuania: Andrius Pojavis – Something
This one surprised everyone by qualifying for the final.

3. Moldavia: Aliona Moon – O Mie
Big dress!

4. Finland: Krista Siegfrids – Marry Me
Krista was a semifinalist on The Voice of Finland season 1. Singer kisses female backing vocalist on stage at the end of the song. Basically, the song is pro-same sex-marriage anthem.

5. Spain: ESDM – Contigo Hasta El Final (With You Until The End)
Bagpipes! But that’s the only interesting thing about the song.

6. Belgium: Roberto Bellarosa – Love Kills
Roberto won The Voice Belgium season 1.

7. Estonia: Birgit – Et Uus Saaks Alguse
Birgit won Estonian Idol season 1 in 2007. Her big white dress is hiding a pregnant belly.

8. Belarus: Alyona Lanskaya – Solayoh
Giant silver ball on stage.

9. Malta: Gianluca – Tomorrow
He is a doctor. The song is a rip-off of Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours”.

10. Russia: Dina Garipova – What If
Dina won The Voice Russia in 2012.

11. Germany: Cascada – Glorious
German Eurodance act, best known for their hits “Everytime We Touch”, “What Hurts the Most”, and “Evacuate the Dancefloor”.

12. Armenia: Dorians – Lonely Planet
The song is written by Black Sabbath’s guitarist Tony Iommi.

13. The Netherlands: Anouk – Birds
Anouk is the most popular female rock singer in the Netherlands. This is Hollands first qualification for ESC final. Birds falling down from the rooftops …

14. Romania: Cezar – It’s My Life
Romanian vampire is a contratenor. The performance is a bit bizarre.

15. United Kingdom: Bonnie Tyler – Believe In Me
Yep, it’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” hitmaker! Poor Bonnie lost her voice right before the final. Will she make it though the song?

16. Sweden: Robin Stjernberg – You
He is Swedish Idol season 8 (2011) runner-up. He is sort of yodeling in the chorus?

17. Hungary: ByeAlex – Kedvesem (Zoohacker Remix)
Hipster with glasses!

18. Denmark: Emmelie de Forest – Only Teardrops
Big favorite for the win! Denmark last won in 2000 with Olsen Brothers and their song “Fly on the Wings of Love”. That year Eurovision was hosted by Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Is Denmark winning Eurovision in Sweden once again tonight?

19. Iceland : Eythor Ingi – Ég Á Líf
Eythor is a theatre kid! He is also capable of singing rock, but tonight he is trying to impress us with a low key ballad.

20. Azerbaijan: Farid Mammadov – Hold Me
The song is composed by Dimitrios Kontopoulos, who previously produced Eurovision songs for Ani Lorak, Sakis Rouvas and had 27 number one hits in Greek national airplay charts. Basically, Azerbaijan bought a song from a well known Eurovision hitmaker. Again. Singer has another guy in a box behind himself that is trying to mirror the singer’s pose. How original.

21. Greece: Koza Mostra feat. Agathon Iakovidis – Alcohol Is Free
Well, the title is a lie. Big lie.

22. Ukraine: Zlata Ognevich – Gravity
Oh look, a giant saving a beautiful singer!

23. Italy: Marco Mengoni – L’Essenziale
Marco won X Factor Italy season 3 in 2009. This year he won San Remo Music Festival and was selected by RAI to represent Italy in Eurovision Song Contest. Nice song. The juries will probably bite. Italy returned to Eurovision three years ago after 14 years long break.

24. Norway: Margaret Berger – I Feed You My Love
Margaret finished 2nd on the 2nd season of Norwegian Idol in 2004. This is one of the better entries this year.

25. Georgia: Nodi Tatishvili & Sophie Gelovani – Waterfall
Boring ballad.

26. Ireland: Ryan Dolan – Only Love Survives
Ireland is the most successful Eurovision country with 7 wins. 1970, 1980, 1987, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996. Crazy streak in the 90’s! 1992’s Eurovision was held in Malmö, Sweden. I don’t think Ryan Dolan is repeating history again tonight.

And that’s it! Televoting is next (15 minutes) and then the results. We will have the winner in a little bit more than an hour.

RECAP!

Last year’s winner Loreen is performing “We Got the Power” and “Euphoria”. Loreen finished 4th on Swedish Idol season 1 (2004).

Another RECAP!

And now, the televoting is over!

And now, some historic stuff. OMG, Dustin THE TURKEY! Legendary Eurovision trash!

Eric Saade is waiting in the green room. He finished 3rd two years ago with “Popular”.

The Boss says the results are coming in, but they still need to verify them.

ABBA’s “The Winner Takes It All” acoustic!
