ABC makes it official. Erin Andrews will join Tom Bergeron as co-host for Dancing with the Stars. Also,  the new lineup will be revealed live Tuesday March 4 on Good Morning America.  The new season of DWTS premieres on Monday March 17.

Meanwhile, fired co-host, Brooke Burke, continues to remain light hearted about being unceremoniously dumped on Friday

Orchestra leader, Harold Wheeler, was also replaced–with ousted American Idol bandleader, Ray Chew.

Erin Andrews Joins Tom Bergeron as Host When “Dancing with the Stars” – Premieres on Monday, March 17

This season’s exciting new cast of “Dancing with the Stars” will be revealed live, TUESDAY, MARCH 4 exclusively on “Good Morning America” (7:00-9:00 a.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The competition begins with an all new cast of celebrities who will brave the dance floor for the very first time. Each week these celebrities will leave their comfort zones and endure hours of grueling rehearsals to master technical choreography and entertaining performances. In the end, only one star will rise above the rest to be crowned champion and win the coveted mirror-ball trophy.

Erin Andrews joins “Dancing with the Stars” as host alongside Emmy-Award Winner® Tom Bergeron for its 18th season premiering MONDAY, MARCH 17 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). No stranger to the ballroom, Andrews competed on the 10th season of “Dancing with the Stars” making it all the way to the finals. Known for being a pioneer in sports broadcasting, Andrews’s skills from the field are sure to be an asset in hosting a spirited dance competition. This season, the show also welcomes new Music Director and Composer Ray Chew to the ballroom. Continuing a tradition of live musical accompaniment, Chew’s band will feature a new line-up of musicians and singers performing music ranging from the latest pop hits to the great standards of the past.

After spending eight years at ESPN, Andrews joined FOX Sports in 2012. She was most recently seen covering Super Bowl XLVIII and last year’s World Series. Additionally, she hosted FOX’s Prime Time College Football Pregame Show. She is one of the most-followed sports television personalities on twitter, with over 2.1 million followers. Prior to Fox, she hosted the first hour of ESPN’s College GameDay on ESPNU and was a features reporter for the full three-hour program, a role she held since the 2010 season. Andrews also served as a sideline reporter for college football and basketball games. Andrews has also won two Sports Emmy Awards in her career.
