Dancing with the Stars pro, Lindsay Arnold and her husband Sam Cusick are proud parents of their second baby girl.
“Baby girl is here and we are so in love,” says the social media caption alongside photos of Lindsay in the hospital with her new baby and husband by her side. “Mama and baby are healthy and we are soaking up every minute with our little piece of Heaven. Thank you for all the love we will share more soon.
The infant joins big sister Sage, who was born in November 2020.
Before conceiving their second child, the dancer and choreographer announced her decision to step back from Dancing with the Stars.
Lindsay and her husband had been trying to have another child, she explained in August 2022, which ultimately lead to the decision for the So You Think You Can Dance alum to stay in Utah with her family instead of filming in Los Angeles.
“It’s so important to me that you understand none of this has anything to do with my love for the show as that will NEVER change,” Lindsay wrote.
“Although this decision has been so hard to make I feel so much peace about it.”
Lindsay married her high school sweetheart Sam Cusick in an LDS ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple in Utah. The dancer auditioned for SYTYCD season 9 in 2012 at age 18 and made it into the Top 8. She became a professional on Dancing with the Stars in 2013. She won season 25 in 2017 with partner Jordan Fisher.
Her most notorious pairing was with former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer in 2019. Despite negative critiques from the judges panel, they stayed in the competition all the way to 6th place. Lindsay finished her DWTS run with Bachelor Matt James on season 30 in 2021.
