On this week’s Dancing with the Stars (Nov 4) former Fifth Harmony member and X Factor USA alum Ally Brooke earned the FIRST perfect score of the season! She and professional dance partner Sasha Farber earned a 10 from each of the judges–Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.

But in a cruel twist, the couple ended up in the bottom two with Office star Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov. The new voting rules this season hands power to the judges, who pick the eliminated contestant from the bottom two vote getters. For the first time, votes are live, with fans (Or non fans, as it were. Ahem.) voting online throughout the show. Kate’s judges scores have lagged the past few weeks. It only made sense to save Ally. It’s the singer’s SECOND time in the bottom two, despite solid performances.
Ally and Sasha KILLED it with a fierce Paso Doble. Making the performance extra special for the singer–she performed to her OWN song, her new single “Fire.” And not only did she perform to her song, she sang the first verse before taking the dance floor with Sasha. Watch the performance below.

After their fiery performance, the judges raved. “It was a mix of good technique and high performance,” said Len. “And that is an irresistible combination. Well done!” Bruno enthused, “Excuse me Miss Silver lightning! She was cutting these most amazing shapes and lights,” he said referring to her shiny, reflective costume. He compared her performance to conducting an orchestra. “Beauty, power, and artistry. That’s what you need in a Paso Doble. You had it all!” Carrie Ann, calling Ally a “freaking superstar,” said, “Something has shifted in you. You’ve commanded all of our attention. And not just with your presence…you bettah work honey!”
But still…Ally landed in the bottom two. Why isn’t she connecting with the DWTS audience? Where are her Harmonizers!!! Lucky for Ally, she’s is safe and will participate in next week’s Boy Bands vs Girl Bands week with guest judges Joey Fatone and Emma Bunting. Watch the judges save Ally below.
