David Cook in the Mags

I’ve been going back and forth about posting an item on the David Cook article in this week’s People magazine (on your newsstands, now!). At this point, most of his fans either already have the magazine, or have seen the scans. There wasn’t much that was newsworthy to post anyway–unless you think his dating habits and what he likes about girls are news.

Here are the scans anyway. I’m not happy with the photo quality, but here you go:

David Cook in People Magazine: Table of Contents, Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, Page 4.

Seriously, the article is about one step above Tiger Beat. I’m surprised they didn’t ask him about his favorite color. The headline of the article is, “Sexy and Sensitive!” and is illustrated with pictures of David looking all Hawt! with the smoldering looks and what not. It’s all about the music right? Hm.

A much better interview is this one from Rolling Stone. A call went out for fans to submit questions via short videos. The editors picked the best of the lot, and the results are interesting, and funny. My favorite has David discussing what he learned from each of the bands he played in.

In this article from the Kansas City Star, David reveals that he’s thinking of putting together a band rather than going solo, hopes to have a producer for his upcoming record by the end of the month, and has already begun the writing process. Also, there’s lots of interesting info about his life in the Kansas City and Tulsa music scenes.
