David Archuleta opened for Brad Paisley at yesterday’s Stadium of Fire concert in Provo Utah. The concert is a yearly event (Taylor Hicks and Carrie Underwood are past performers) and draws a huge crowd to BYU’s Lavell Edwards Stadium.
David made a surprise appearance early in the show to sing the National Anthem. It began with an 11 year old David on the screen singing at an earlier event. David picks it up at “What so proudly we hailed…” in a lower key–of course!
Later, he came on stage to sing “Crush” and more. Check out the videos below. After the show, headliner Brad Paisley tweeted this, “If @DavidArchie get’s any nicer he’s going to melt away. What a great kid.”
