VFTW just posted some pre-Idol music of their current pick, Danny Gokey. A gold start to anyone who can get to the end of this syrupy dreck without nodding off.
In Danny’s defense this stuff is really badly produced. The mix is atrocious, with Danny sounding like he’s singing underwater. I assume when he performs these bland worship songs for the Pastor Rolex crowd, his renditions there are a bit more peppy.
