During rehearsal on Friday with celebrity partner Heather Morris, Dancing with the Stars pro Maks Chmerkovskiy sustained a calf injury.
Unfortunately, accordig to ABC’s Good Morning America, the injury will sideline the dancer on tonight’s (March 27) Dancing with the Stars.
No word yet on how serious the injury is or when Maks will be physically healthy enough to dance again. Another dancer will step in to perform with Heather tonight.
The cameras were rolling during rehearsal. Watch as Maks stops, swears and says to partner Heather that he felt something pop in his calf.
Watch this post for updates.
UPDATE: Heather will partner with troupe dancer Alan Bersten.
UPDATE: People reports that Maks will be out “for a few weeks.”

Sorry I was MIA. Tune in to @dancingabc today and all will be explained. Tough show for #teamMaksimumHeat and @heatherrelizabethh would have to hold it down for both of us. Please show her your love and support while I work on getting my ass back to the ballroom. #DidNotSeeThisComing #WillBeBackBetterThanEver
