The Battle Rounds continue this week on The Voice season 12 and here’s a little peak into tonight’s (March 27) pair-ups.
On Team Alicia Keys, Hunter Plake and Jack Cassidy wow the coaches with their performance of Robyn’s “Dancing on My Own.” Jack is the grandson of actress Shirley Jones, as well as nephew of David Cassidy. Both starred on the Partridge Family TV show back in the 70’s.
Coach Gwen Stefani compliments Hunter on his emotional delivery. “You have to make a record,” she tells him. Adam Levine reminds Jack that he wanted the singer on his team. “You broke my heart,” he says. Nevertheless, he gives the Battle to hunter. Blake Shelton couldn’t choose between the two singer. “I don’t know what you’re going to do,” he says to Alicia.
Who will Alicia choose? Hunter or Jack? Tune into The Voice tonight to find out. We begin live blogging at 8 pm ET.
