Dancing with the Stars: Hilaria Baldwin to join Season 34 cast
Sources say that Hilaria Baldwin, wife of actor Alec Baldwin will join the Dancing with the Stars season 34 cast.
Scandal and controversy follows the Baldwins, so she is the type of celebrity DWTS producers LOVE to cast.
Hilaria is so notorious, she has a dedicated hate group on the social media site, Reddit. Things people hate about her: For years she claimed to be Spanish and spoke with a “Spanish” accent. But it turned out that she grew up in Massachusetts to an upper middle-class family. Her father can trace his ancestry back to the Mayflower, and her mother is a doctor. Eventually, her parents retired to Spain. That’s how she claims she’s “Spanish.”
Also, the couple are the parents of seven children. Some fans accuse the two of using their young children as social media props, as Hilaria tends to document her life thoroughly on several platforms.
Additionally, Alec Baldwin, firing a prop gun that he didn’t realize was loaded with real bullets, shot and killed the cinematographer an independent film, Rust. After the tragedy, which happened in 2021, the family of the victim, Halyna Hutchins, sued Alec. He also faced criminal charges, which were subsequently dropped.
The Baldwins recently starred in a TLC reality show titled The Baldwins, which gave viewers a look at the couple’s family life.
Good Morning America to announce Cast on September 3
She joins previously announced celebrity contestants Robert Irwin (sister of DWTS winner Bindi Irwin), popular content creator Alix Earle and Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt.
The confirmation from sources comes after Hilaria hinted about joining the show on social media.
ABC’s Good Morning America will announce the full cast on Wednesday, September 3. Dancing with the Stars season 34 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Hulu.
