Dancing with the Stars season 30 premieres on ABC Monday September 20. After the big cast reveal earlier this week, the network has released official photos of all 15 cast members. Check out the full gallery at the bottom of the page. And check out the official list of DWTS 30 contestants, including bios of each celebrity and their rumored pro-partner matchups HERE.
What’s more, Dancing with the Stars has introduced two new pro dancers, Sofia Ghavami and Ezra Sosa. They will not be partnered with celebrities for season 30, but their talents will be showcased throughout the competing couples performances. And not said, but probably true: If a dancer tests positive for Covid or suffers an injury, the two dancers will be ready to take their place!
The two dancers should already be pals. They BOTH competed on So You Think You Can Dance in 2019.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Ezra is a Utah native and a US National Latin Ballroom Champion. He’s best known for competing in season 16 of So You Think You Can Dance, where he made the top 6. The 20-year-old has also appeared in numerous national tours, movies, commercials and TV shows, including America’s Got Talent and World of Dance.
Ezra stars in several David Archuleta music videos
Sofia toured with Maks, Val and Peta
Sofia was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Although she’s trained in a variety of dance styles, her passion is Latin Ballroom and in addition to making the Top 20 on So You Think You Can Dance, she also appeared as a pro on Univison’s Mira Quién Baila.
Most recently, she toured the U.S. with DWTS pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd’s MVP Confidential tour.
