Crystal Bowersox Discusses her “Farmer’s Daughter” Music Video with Access Hollywood

Crystal Bowersox talks with Access Hollywood from the set of her “Farmer’s Daughter” video shoot!

The video concept is a “healing cycle”  that begins with a little girl who could be anybody, but is basically a stand in for Crystal. Her mom pushes little Crystal away, there are obstacles to get through, and at the end it resolves with Crystal accepting her mom, and her own motherhood.

Crystal’s mom is upset that the first song is the personal and autobiographical “Farmer’s Daughter”, but since the video travels through the entire cycle of anger/healing/forgiveness, Crystal is confident her mom will eventually come to terms with it.

The video is directed by Meiert Avis who has directed videos for Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Audioslave, Paramour and more.
