The performances were filmed by CBS for their coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The parade anchors are trying really hard to make it appear that Carrie is singing live. Ha. No way–she’s enjoying the holiday with her family today.

Hope everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving is enjoying their day too.  Carrie’s segments will be sprinkled throughout the parade coverage this morning.

Carrie sang three songs including “Mama’s Song”, “Undo It”, and the live debut of the theme from the new Narnia movie, “There’s a Place for Us”

“Mama’s Song”

“Undo It”

“There’s A Place For Us”

  1. Just watched Undo it.

Don’t like that song, but Carrie did a great job.

  2. Thanks so much for posting MJ. I can always depend on you when I miss stuff. :)

  3. I’m under thrilled with the song “There’s A Place for Us” and I don’t quite get having a country singer write and sing a song about a fairy tale kingdom from long, long, ago. The song just doesn’t seem to jive with my visions of Narnia and I just don’t think the song is “melodic and lyrical” enough to capture that wonderful place I grew up with.

Besides….the title just reminds me so much of the first lines from the song “Somewhere” from West Side Story so that is what song immediately goes through my very old head when I hear the title. Wish this new song would have had the power of that song. Oh well, no one else will even think about “Somewhere” since the song is about 60 years old.
