  1. One out of some great comments there: “I was in the side room when James started singing, and I thought “Wow Dana is belting it out tonight!” A stellar talent for sure.”
So good, both songs—what an unexpected treat!

  2. I do follow Chuck’s write-ups about who’s playing or the theme at The Whiskey but didn’t see the note about Julian Lennon–nice. Always sounds like some very interesting talent playing.
Enjoyed the band on the 2 videos here also —& would also have liked any GnR video. Very much like it when we get any of James performances.

  3. Some comments on the Led Zepp video…
Damon LaScot Jaaaayyyzus James! That dude is SICK! So much fun last night!?? 3h

Briony A Bullard Karen, take a look at this… this is the rock show I go to when I am in Nashville. How awesome is this guy!!!
Moni….. you know a visit here is on your next itinerary don’t you??? 1h

I love reading posts from people hearing him for the first time. :)

It seems this jam session is similar to the one Chuck runs at the Whisky in Hollywood, but Chuck’s is on a bigger scale and has different themes every week. Did you happen to see Chuck’s post a few weeks ago that Julian Lennon showed up for one of them? I think it was about 2 wks ago. They also hosted Slash and Miles Kennedy at the Whisky a couple weeks ago as well.

Fun stuff here in Nashville too. That venue is the same place James and Heidi went to see Alex with Hookers N Blow when they played there in early Sept., that’s maybe when he found out about the jams held on Tues. nights. (Btw, I had heard that James got up and sang some GnR that night with Alex and Dizzy Reed, but I never found any video of it.)
