  1. For those who watched at least the first week of The Launch here. I’ve been following a few of the people. Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine seem to be doing the best. but at least three of them have been crisscrossing Canada this summer. (Logan Staats and Poesy are the others.)

Not sure if you can watch these outside of Canada but I thought I’d post them in case you can.

    Calgary Stampede interview:
Interesting changes in their lives. Gone from writing in Elijah’s grandmother’s basement to touring Canada. They’re the least competitive people you’ll ever meet. They’re getting ready to release a new single and they have a couple of albums worth of songs written. They’re taking time to get a good team together.

I have no idea if Big Machine has signed them or if they’re releasing independenetly. “Ain’t Easy” (“Pas Facile”) has gone platinum in Canada and is still selling.

Just found this video at the Senators game – posted March 3oth. Looks like they’ve added 3 guitarists and a drummer.

  2. The video works for me, CanadianLady. Not very surprised “Ain’t Easy” has done well. It has a very current pop vibe to it, and I imagine it would fit right in with other songs on pop radio. I didn’t like the second song quite as much, but it does demonstrate that they have a “sound” and know what they are doing.

Amy is my favorite from The Launch. I really enjoyed the parts of the show that we were able to view here at MJs, and I wish they hadn’t blocked it. Any word on whether there will be another season?
