Concert Schedule – 7/28/14 – Adam Lambert, American Idol Live

It’s a very short list of concerts for our reality show alums. Most notable? Adam Lambert + Queen perform the last stop on the North American leg of their worldwide tour. The music begins again on August 22 when they land in Perth Australia. Then it’s on to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Also, look for Queen and Adam at Supersonic in Korea, on August 14 and 15.

  1. Janelle is performing at Song Suffragettes writers’ round at The Listening Cafe in Nashville again tonight

Kree will be playing at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville on August 21

And two new dates for Kris: August 28th at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, MI &
Sept. 10 at the Harvester Performance Center in Rocky Mount, VA

  2. When something goes way too fast it’s because it was very good. Thus the Queen with Adam Lambert NA tour. This is one of the best rock concerts to come along in years. One can only hope The Show Must Go On!

  3. @MichaelSlezakTV

#For those of you who asked, I LOVED the @adamlambert + Queen concert last week — but went purely for my own enjoyment, so no review.

  4. They have gotten such stupendous and extremely warm response from fans and rave reviews from most critics. So, I wonder if Queen will continue this tour in Europe and other parts of the world.

  5. Two sold-out concerts in Toronto, with capacity almost 19K. Do we get box scores from Canada? They’ll be making over 3M for the two shows.

Wow! What a response they are getting.

  6. Yep. Mr. Slezak’s job is writing reviews. He should be allowed to go to a concert on his “own time” with no review expected. :)

  7. The audience is having so much fun tonite in Toronto. I don’t know what Adam is saying, but they sure are laughing a lot. And his riffs are out of this world. What rocker can do that?

ETA: OK, I get what they were laughing about. Adam can be hilariously funny.

  8. “The Show Must Go On” tonite. Incredible. Just incredible. Those 19 thousand fans are absolutely loving every minute.

  9. That stream was amazing.

    This tweet says it all:

“Nobody can replace Freddie Mercury but holy fuck is @adamlambert ever amazing! He has a voice meant to fill stadiums. @queenwillrock”

  10. I wonder if this is the only big legacy act which brought in a new front man over 30 years younger with the rest of the group, and successfully revived and rejuvenated itself, and even broaden its fan base.

I enjoy other bands which has been around forever, with the original member intact. And there are band which successfully replaced the lead singer as soon as they lost the original, and continued on as very successful band. They are lucky, and it is wonderful.

Queen lost irreplaceable front man, and that was a tragedy. I thought that was it. But “heavens opened up” as one paper says, and stars lined up, and a little miracle was born. There are happy days to be a Queen fan :)

  11. Awww, so fitting. I am glad to hear that there was something special for the last North American concert for the attendees. Another song that really showcases Adam’s vocal!

  12. Bieber’s musical director:

    Dan Kanter @dankanter · 10m
Shoutout to the incredibly talented and down to earth @adamlambert! Your voice has no ceiling. #Queen

  13. Nice. :-)

I don’t know what direct impact the QAL tour will have on Adam’s solo career, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to believe his success in the incredibly challenging role he took on will be both noted and well-respected within the music industry. And respect for one’s talent is never, ever a bad thing.

  14. As Nile Rodgers said about Adam – “One day the world will understand.”

  15. QAL was given a proper send off from NA tour by Totonto, live feed was steady, Adam was on fire, Bri was spectulsr as usual, giving them a proper send off. Too much to hope they will take another run at the US. Must add here Adam has had consistent fans since 2009 who never doubted he was a super star.

  16. The stream was one of the best – particularly the audio – of the many that have been available during this Tour. May’s guitar, along with Lambert’s vocals, offered a musical experience unlike any other today – fortunate those in attendance tonight.

  17. Interesting line on the Queen site with last night’s Toronto set list:

“See you in Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand… and beyond.”

I don’t think it’s if an announcement of further tour concerts will come, but when.

  18. Last night’s QAL concert was epic. So great to meet up with many, many people who first met on this blog. Thanks for the memories.

  19. Saw that – so funny – he has such an expressive face – here laughing at himself – great to be able to do that – part of his charm.
