Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Jul 21-27

Four milestones this Monday – across three formats.

Let’s start with the milestone-palooza on Country. Leading the charge are the Swon Brothers who finished third on the 4th season of The voice. There were treated as the also-rans on Blake’s team behind the winner who was also on his team. They didn’t even get a contract from The Voice affiliated label. No matter, they went top 15 this week on Country with “Later On”. Will they finally be the break out stars from that show?

Also, not winning, on Blake’s team and not on the official Voice label is RaeLynn. Her “God Made Girls” went top 50 on Country. Finally, not on Blake’s team, but married to him is Nashville Star’s Miranda Lambert who duets with Idol’s Carrie Underwood on “Somethin’ Bad” – somethin’s good because it went to 20 on Counry this week.

Not on Country, but he used to be and is now making in-roads in CCM, is Danny Gokey. He gets his first top

10 on CAC with “Hope in Front of Me”.
