  1. @VisitSavannah: So many happy people in Forsyth Park right now! @phillips”

  2. If you live near Cranston, RI, you’ve got your pick of ex-Idols to go see tonight

  3. It’s really a 2 for 1 on Idols. The Rhode Island Center for the Performing Arts and the Park Theatre are the same place. Erika and Caroline Glaser (The Voice) are Crystal’s special guests tonight. :)

  4. David did it again – “Separate Ways” in Clearwater FL tonight – that’s only the 2nd time he’s done it in public, and he added a disclaimer in case of vocal problems – then he proceeded to do “Rock & Roll/Whole Lotta Love” later in the set and close with “Light On” so I guess that honey and ? he was swigging helped out?

He also sent a shout out from the stage to Maureen Van Zandt for her birthday – since there’s a party in NY – and he and the guys are in Florida. For a change, he was hoping the announcement would make its way online.

That was the last night of #davecon2014 – a string of six FL performances in eight days that have just kept building in intensity since Oct 31st – ending with a nice Rowdy crowd in Clearwater tonight!

  5. He mentioned to someone before the show that his throat was sore. I noticed during some of his banter that he sounded a little bit froggy so good for him for getting through the concert with his voice intact. After he did Separate Ways, several people that were there mentioned him guzzling honey. I guess it was pretty obvious even from the audience, lol.

  6. Going off a slightly confusingly worded tweet from Boyce Avenue’s drummer, it seems that tonight’s show was another sell out :)

  7. He sounded amazing, even with a sore throat. I wouldn’t have even known if fans hadn’t said anything, though I did hear it a bit in his speaking voice today and yesterday.

  8. Before the show, Twitter reported that David was asked at the VIP if he was going to do “Separate Ways” again and he said not tonight, his throat was too sore, but he would do it on Dec 2nd at the Charity Concert.

He changed his mind on stage, and decided to go for it – cracked me up when he said it was like having a Halloween Clearance Sale ON Halloween – a Bad Idea…but then he killed it anyway – and followed up with the Led Zeppelin medley and the serial High C’s of “Light On”to close. smh

Well, the next set of November gigs are for charities; he’s playing Tennis and Golf, not singing – so I guess that’s a little vocal rest?

  9. Just soes he’s not planning to keep filling out the setlist with Artists Caleb Johnson Taunted Him as Not Singing Because They’re Realler Realz Totally Real Rock…as Johnson’s musical taste is so cheesy that he should have a spokesband gig with Velveeta, and nobody except the parties involved really care which Idol winner is better at singing oldies.
