UPDATE: Added full AUDIO of 2 Casey James 11/7 radio interviews and VIDEO of a Carrie & Brad satellite 11/8 interview where Brad mentions he and Carrie have some little numbers planned that they’ll perform together for fun during the show, probably like their funny song parodies from last year.

UPDATE 3: More pictures from David Wild!
Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley had a press conference today about the CMA Awards, which they will cohost live on ABC this Wednesday at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central. In the press conference, Carrie compared Brad to Shrek, revealed her wedding present for her husband Mike Fisher, and Brad told a REALLY hilarious, must-see story about his 3 year old son Huck’s obsession with Carrie. Check out the 5:08 mark of Part 2 of the video embedded below for the Brad story. There’s also a great Brad story about how Lonestar pranked him (it involved goldfish in his bottled water on stage).
With CMA Awards rehearsals starting today, Carrie and Brad met with CMA head writer David Wild today according to a David Wild tweet:
Had a GREAT meeting with @BradPaisley and Carrie Underwood. I love them both. Especially the one in the skirt. But she’s sweet too.
Carrie is nominated for 2 CMAs this year, Female Vocalist Of The Year and Album Of The Year. She will perform at the CMAs and so will Kelly Clarkson in a duet called “Don’t You Wanna Stay” from Jason Aldean’s album. Kellie Pickler will present.

Casey James tells DJs the label is treating him like an artist rather than a contestant, allowing Casey to take his time as he continues to write for his debut, set to come out on Sony Nashville early summer.

Our hosts. They’re like superstars to me.
This is the creative process. I stand nearby and laugh. Because I get paid to be here.
