This video of Chris Daughtry’s acoustic performance of Elton John’s “Madman Across the Water” for ‘s Stripped Live in NYC series has been up on You Tube for a couple of weeks, but I think it’s worth posting.

The performance reminds me what I liked about Chris during his Idol run.   Chris may lack flash, but his charisma shines through his intense, riveting performance style.

  14. I love Daughtry. His first album great, second album not so great. This is one of my favorite Elton John songs, but I really don’t like Daughtry’s interpretation.
