Glee star, Chord Overstreet, had plenty to do during his short hiatus away from the show this fall, including writing and recording songs for an album.
In case you didn’t know, Chord comes from a family of musicians. His dad, Paul Overstreet is a Nashville songwriter (George Jones, Randy Travis and more) and his brother Nash plays guitar in Hot Chelle Rae.
A tune Chord finished in the studio this weekend has leaked on the internet. “Beautiful Girl” sounds like I’ve heard it somewhere before, although I’m pretty sure I haven’t. Chord’s got a smooth, Hot AC friendly recording voice. With the right material (Not sure this particular song is it) he could have a hit.
