Ratings are in from TVByTheNumbers On ABC, the second episode of Duets scored a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating. down 12% from a 1.7 last week. DANG. Duets dropped 12 percent from last week! I guess

So You Think You Can Dance was higher in the demo, while Duets had slightly more viewers. That year to year drop in viewers for SYTYCD is worrisome, although the decent demo may save it from cancellation. It still easily won its time slot.

ABC announced today the eight young amateur singers who will partner with Superstars Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke in the network’s newest music series, Duets set to premiere Thursday May 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET).

John Legend to Replace Lionel Richie on Duets

Lionel Richie has dropped out of the ABC reality series Duets. He’ll be replaced by singer/songwriter, John Legend who will join Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke as one of the judges.
