It’s the last week of the quarter-finals on America’s Got Talent. I’d like to say this phase of the competition went out with a bang, but unfortunately– No. There was some solid talent on stage tonight, but nothing that made me go “Wow”.

Ratings: So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent Stay Steady

America’s Got Talent was steady versus last week with a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating, though that ties its summer low. So You Think You Can Dance was also steady with a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating.

No big surprises in tonight’s America’s Got Talent week 3 quarter final results. Next week will be the last 12 acts to compete in the quarter finals. Twelve acts, including the four that advanced tonight, will move on to the semi-finals.

It’s the 3rd week of the quarter finals on America’s Got Talent. My how time flies when you’re having SO MUCH FUN. The 3rd set of 12 acts performed, after tonight’s vote, four acts will advance to the next round. Tune into the results show tomorrow night to find out who made the cut.

The second week of the America’s Got Talent Quarter finals brought 12 acts that were mostly mediocre, even downright awful.

There were a few bright spots: Diva-style singer, Daniel Joseph Baker had some solid chops, The Smage Brothers motorcycle act was scary, but in a good way, Stephen Retchless’s pole dance was a study in strength and beauty, and I have to give it up to the Silhouettes. The troupe’s patriotic pandering was rather, erm, shameless (shadows of the twin towers? REALLY? YOU’RE GOING THERE!?!), but the act was beautifully put together.
