Carrie Underwood had quite the emergency Saturday morning when her dogs somehow managed to lock themselves in the car, with her little baby son, Isaiah, and all her stuff inside. It’s too bad David Letterman retired because, that would be one helluva stupid pet trick. I wonder which puppy was the culprit–Penny or Ace? Or perhaps it was a mischievous joint effort between the two.
When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you have to break a window to get in. #WhatAreTheChances

Later on, the American Idol season 4 winner clarified that it was her brother-in-law who busted the window and saved the day. An important point, considering the item immediately entered the news cycle.
I should clarify. My bro-in-law was actually the window breaker in the “dogs-locked-the-car-door” incident today! But all is good now!

Minus the broken window, of course! ????

The timing was especially unwelcome. Carrie had a gig at the Country Concert ’15 festival in Port Loramie OH. Later, Carrie thanked the audience for a great show.
Had such a good time tonight! Thanks, Fort Loramie, for the fun! You guys were awesome! https://t.co/pJCJqWDMNv

In case you missed it: Carrie has added rapping to her vocal repertoire. Click to watch Carrie perform a mashup of her “See You Again” with “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa feat Charlie Puth. The country singer takes on the rap bridge quite admirably, despite the giggles.
After taking a couple of months off after the birth of Isaiah, Carrie returned to the limelight during CMA Fest week, appearing on the Opry, CMT Awards (where she earned 4 belt buckles) and headlining a night at LP Field for the CMA Festival. Also, the singer recently recorded a new opener for NBC Sunday Night Football. This, in addition to gearing up to record a new album.
