The ACMS were schedule to present awards Sunday night (April 5) but due to coronavirus concerns, the 3 hour event, along with live events across the country was cancelled.
Instead, the Academy of Country music reached out to the country stars scheduled to appear on the telecast take part in an ACM special instead, ACM Presents: Our Country.
Many country music stars, including several of our favorite reality stars, performed hit songs beamed in from their living rooms. The iHeart country awards did a similar broadcast recently, and it was fairly successful.
