Carrie Underwood is one of the artists hand-picked by Loretta Lynn to record a track for the country legend’s upcoming tribute album, Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Tribute To Loretta Lynn.
Carrie’s cut is called “You’re Lookin’ at Country”, written and released by Lynn in 1971. The song peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot Country singles chart.
Other artists on the compilation include: Gretchen Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, The White Stripes, Alan Jackson and Martina McBride, Paramore, Faith Hill, Steve Earle, Kid Rock, Reba McEntire, Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow and Miranda Lambert.
Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Tribute To Loretta Lynn will be available everywhere November 9.
