Remember the rumor that Candice Glover’s debut album, Music Speaks, would be delayed until August 27?
Well, Candice herself confirmed on twitter that the rumor is partially correct.
The American Idol reigning champ told her followers on twitter that she’d be making an announcement on Monday about her album.
A fan asked if the announcement was about the date change rumor, and Candice confirms that the album WILL BE DELAYED, but even later than the rumored new date, August 27th.
So yeah, this is looking more like a typical American Idol release, set for the fall. Unless UMG decides to push it out into the new year, which would be absolutely CRAZY to do. But more will be revealed on Monday….
Candice would love to add more music to the album.
Let’s hope the extra album lead time is taken to push a hot VIABLE new single for Candice! There’s no reason why she can’t at score a hit on the Urban charts, AT LEAST.
