The clip tells the story of young sweethearts running away to elope. Of course, Cade cast his real life fiance to play the part of his wife-to-be. The two take off in a pick up truck, apparently for Las Vegas where the two will tie the knot.
However, in real life, Cade and Gabby had a wedding on October 5 in Texas with family and friends in attendance. The video features snippets of the couples Los Angeles engagement and finishes with wedding and engagement photos submitted by fans.
Written by Jim Collins (“Big green tractor” “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” and “It Just Comes Natural”) and Spence Peppard, Cade told Music and Industry Weekly that he “jumped at the chance” to release the song, which only needed a few tweeks to mirror the story of his relationship with fiancé and fellow American Idol contestant, Gabby Barrett.
Cade told Taste of Country where the video premiered that the new video is a flashback of their whole relationship together leading up to their engagement.
