5 Alive America’s Got Talent Audition
Check out a “leak” from Tuesday’s America’s Got Talent. We all know that Simon Cowell loves his boy bands. After all, he created worldwide sensations One Direction via his X Factor UK competition. But will the Miami’s boy band 5 Alive be his latest discovery? Judging by Simon’s constant eye rolling throughout the boys’ audition mash-up of “Poison” by Bell Biv DeVoe and “Pony” by Ginuwine, maybe not.
In any case, if it were up to judge Mel B., she’d sign them on the spot. The former Spice Girl member could barely contain her excitement as the group gyrated their way through an energetic performance. It’s as if the group transplanted themselves from the 90/00s without much consideration of what’s been going on in music since, however. The outfit is tight but kinda corny.
