Kelly Clarkson rocks Cars.com auto show week party at The Fillmore – Kelly Clarkson did a make-good on Tuesday night, Jan. 10, at the Fillmore Detroit.

The inaugural “American Idol” champ was slated to perform at Cars.com’s annual Best Of Awards — an invitation-only affair that’s one of the hottest parties of North American International Auto Show Week — last January but was sidelined by a pregnancy (she gave birth to a son, her second child, last April). Life after ‘American Idol’: Danny Gokey interview – As a sign of his growing stature, Gokey has graduated from a touring van to a bonafide tour bus. “I bring my family with me a lot, especially when I do a four or five-day show run,” he said. “It’s a lot of work [with two young children] but it’s well worth it. It’s the whole point. I know God has given me grace and the ammunition as an artist to take full advantage of that.” He said he sees his career from a different vantage point vs. 2009. “I came off ‘American Idol’ and started doing shows. X Factor’s Simon Cowell just got a whole lot richer – X Factor boss Simon Cowell is enjoying quite the start to the new year. It’s been revealed this week that the music mogul has cashed in by selling part of his Syco company to Sony Music.
Sony Music’s stake in Simon’s company is now at 75% and Simon will enjoy a whopping £86 million for giving away part of his share, which has been cut to 20% in total.
