Last week, The Bachelor and America’s Got Talent: The Champions took a hit against the college football championship that aired on ESPN.
With the competition out of the way, both shows saw ratings increases. The Bachelor rose 3/10ths of a point, from a 1.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and 5.37 million viewers last week to a healthy 1.9 in the demo and 6.22 million viewers this week.
America’s Got Talent: The Champions bumped up from a 1.0 rating in the demo and 6.52 million viewers to a 1.1 and 6.97 million viewers. AGT’s numbers are still way below last season, where the rating never fell below a 1.6. The Bachelor beat AGT this week by 8/10ths of a point. Wow.
