The American Idol Top 11 have been visiting Ronald McDonald houses across the country as travel with the Idols Live tour.
On Friday, Lauren Alaina and James Durbin visited children and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Greater Washington DC, taking photos and signing autographs.

Key dates for the CMA awards, hosted for the 4th time by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, have just been announced. On September 6, final nominees will be revealed live on Good Morning America during the 8:30 segment. Later that morning, finalists in 7 categories will be announced in a press conference from the historic Ryman auditorium in Nashville. The CMA Awards will be broadcast by ABC (reportedly under a new deal worth 30 million) on November 9.
A Fall album preview in the new issue of EW, mentions CDs from Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Lambert (November TBA date for Adam).
There’s not much information in it we haven’t already heard (Scotty & Lauren’s producers, Adam’s new “Outlaws of Love”), but in a two-page spread on the soundtrack of Kelly Clarkson’s life, she reveals some new details about her upcoming album, Stronger, set for an October 25 release.
