Ariana Grande Skits Saturday Night Live
Considering pop singer Ariana Grande got her start as a teen actress on Nickelodeon it wasn’t a stretch that she’d join her fellow Nick alums, Taran Killam and Kenan Thompson to host Saturday Night Live.In an attempt to minimize last summer’s “donut licking” contretemps, Ariana sings in the monologue about wanting to experience her “first real scandal.” She lets the S word fly during the song which may have been intentional. I have to admit, her female singer impressions in the Tidal skit were spot on. The cold open which spoofed Ben Carson endorsing Donald Trump covered all the bases: “I told you guys…NOT THIS ONE.”
